I was born and raised in Katoomba, NSW (Blue Mountains), if you have ever been to Katoomba you will notice that it is certainly very inspiring, especially for the artist.
I always enjoyed Art and Fantasy. Drawing and Painting is how I used to express my creativity, depicting fantasy creatures such as Unicorns, Faerie and Mermaids. My Family and I then moved to a small country town; Gulgong.
Before finding OOAK Sculpting I was Making and Selling Jewellery, I sold a few pieces on eBay but found that it was too competitive as a lot of mass-produced jewellery was strangling the legitimate OOAK, Handmade jewellery artists.
I loved faeries and did incorporate faerie pendants etc in my jewellery work but it wasn't enough, I finally realised that I wanted more faeries and less jewellery...That's how I discovered OOAK Sculpting.
I sculpted my first OOAK Work in May 2007, a small baby faerie...Yep I still have her!
After that first creation I was hooked.

I will usually stay awake until 11pm every night...working on sculpts or my website. I think my biggest problem is that I have so many ideas of new sculpts but with not enough time to do it all ;)

I am a definate Beginner at this, I am always learning new things and I really love the journey of it all. I would have to say that I am certainly improving ... so with a year behind me... here's to another year...filled with Fantasy and many more wonderful creations!
